The SM01 is a hybrid design that incorporates Core Matrix® technology, high performance shielded aramids and advanced stitching. Our most flexible armor model, Core Matrix technology provides added ballistic performance with enhanced comfort.

APEX FRP (FRONT AND REAR POCKET) CARRIER FEATURES

• Integrated Grip-Lok1 ™ panel suspension system reduces curling and wrinkling
• External material made of 100% microfiber 2 for long-term durability
• Internal liner made of antimicrobial and 3 anti-odor X-Static® silver fiber, which repels micro-organisms and reduces odor
• Combination 4 and 6 point strapping system 4 provides maximum adjustability
• Dual special threat plate pocket allows for 5 insertion of IMPAC™ 5” X 8” and 7” X 9” (IMPAC–HT and –CT only)
• Standard retention tails (front and rear) 6 helps to reduce shifting of armor panels

IMPAC special threat plates offer enhanced protection in four threat styles (5” X 7”, 5” X 8” and 7” X 9”):
IMPAC-HT (handgun)
IMPAC-RT (rifle)
IMPAC-MT (multi-threat)
IMPAC-CT (corrections spike/edged blade)

Apex FRP and SPA+ FRP carriers (optional) include expandable front and rear plate pockets to accommodate all 5” X 8” and 7” X 9” special threat plates.
